About the event

Exploring Redemption: What does it mean to us?

In this discussion, we’ll delve into the theme of redemption and explore its complex emotional and moral dimensions. How do we, as viewers, interpret a character's journey toward redemption? Do we believe they deserve a second chance, or does the weight of their past mistakes make it impossible to forgive them? And perhaps most profoundly, can redemption truly be achieved on a personal level when society refuses to offer forgiveness?

Discussion: Moderated by Ekta Gulyani, founder of The World Cinema Club, the discussion will offer attendees the chance to engage in a deep dive into the film’s theme, characters, and ethical questions. This is an open, inclusive space to share perspectives, challenge ideas, and connect with Cinephiles.

Registration Fee: INR 350 per person (Includes Tea and snacks to enhance the experience)
